The Medical Device Development Centre (MDDC) is a non-profit British Columbia society whose mandate is to advance the collaborative development, evaluation and commercialization of need-oriented medical technology

The MDDC provides a unique opportunity for those in the private sector to interact closely with the public healthcare sector for mutual benefit. The MDDC provides a rich and innovative environment for those interested in any or all aspects of medical device development and evaluation.

While the MDDC does not offer formal entrepreneurship training programs or actively invests in companies, it connects medical technology, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, academic researchers, and healthcare workers. Importantly, the MDDC does not take equity or IP.
